Rootworm populations have developed resistance to genetically modified Bt-corn. Scary, since so much of our pest management for cotton relies on Bt modification. Monsanto has extremely strict guidelines for farmers in place (eg mandated refugia) to help prevent the evolution of resistance in cotton pests, so I wonder what has happened with the corn?
